What We Do
Paribartan Nepal is a non-governmental organization (NGO) , non-profit, voluntary citizens' group which is organized on a local and national level. Task-oriented and driven by people with a common interest, NGO performs a variety of service and humanitarian functions, bring citizen concerns to Governments, advocate and monitor policies and encourage political participation through provision of information. It has been organized around specific issues, such as sustainable development, education, good governance, peace establishment, women empowerment human rights, environment or health. We provide analysis and expertise, serve as early warning mechanisms and help monitor and implement international agreements.
We are committed to improving the living standards of the rural and disadvantaged groups by bringing them to the mainstream of development through the promotion of togetherness, self-empowerment, education and community partnership. It aims at transforming society having good social cohesion, gender equity and sustainable socioeconomic development. It emphasizes the empowerment of the marginalized women and youth through entrepreneurship development that will enhance them to take up the challenges of their own existence and ensuring self reliance; and therefore reduction of their vulnerability to many human and societal obstacles or challenges. Its main focus is on the creation of a strong, viable and pluralistic civil society. Our relationship with offices and agencies of the government differs depending on their goals, their venue and the mandate of a particular institution.
